Color-coded tab grouping and pinning

Similar to what browsers (Firefox, Chrome, etc.) offer, I'd love to have color-coded tab grouping and pinning features.

1. Do other users/maintainers interested in this feature?
2. Would maintainers accept this feature if contributed?
