Long hyperlinks do not work with small screen sizes

I have an xfce4-terminal with a long URL displayed in it. In full screen I can click it and works as expected. If I shrink the screen so that the URL needs 2 lines to be displayed, then the URL does not work properly:

The target of the hyperlink is only the first line of the URL instead of the full URL.
