Ctrl+PageUp, Ctrl+PageDown can no longer be used with Tmux

When using Tmux you can open new Tmux windows instead of using the tabs of the terminal app. To switch between these windows, I have Ctrl+PageUp and Ctrl+PageDown configured in .tmux.conf as this is the same combo that browsers and other apps use so it's very intuitive. Until not too long ago it worked fine in Xfce Terminal, but now it doesn't. It seems that the terminal emulator captures these keys even if there are no additional tabs open.

Could it be changed to work the way it used to? I.e. Ctrl+PageUp/PageDown would be passed along to whatever's running inside the app if there's no terminal tabs.

Version info:

• It affects 1.0
• It doesn't affect 0.8.
• Not sure about 0.9 as I don't have a way to quickly install it, but I think I used Xfce Terminal on Manjaro just a few weeks ago so I guess it must have been 0.9? And it worked fine there.
