Host on Imgur UI is ambiguous

The "warning triangle" beside "Host on Imgur" option is ambiguous.

Screenshooter screenshot

It might mean "This exposes your data to third parties".

It might mean "This option won't work as expected until configured", which I suspect is more of a Mac-ism. Here are some examples:

Configuration w/ unexpected behaviour

Configuration incomplete

(NB these warnings have explanatory text, which I felt was missing in Screenshooter but assumed was explained elsewhere.)

I guessed the latter, and selected it to force Screenshooter to configure, say, an account (finding no other mechanism to do so in Properties). It uploaded a test screenshot to Imgur that I'd rather not have uploaded. I didn't notice the "Deletion" URL until I retraced my steps and figured out what I had done (I used the Imgur web deletion request link).

Proposed mitigations:

  1. A one-time confirmation dialog on first use.
  2. A different warning marker.
  3. Explanatory text ("Immediate upload") in the empty space to the right of the warning marker.

Also, I'd put the Imgur link and deletion link on the same tab, to make it obvious the deletion link exists, is different, and will disappear too.

Thanks for considering. K.
