xfce4-screenshooter specific region capture occasionally saves the rendered region border in the screenshot
I am not sure the cause of why this happens. As seen in the screenshot below, there is a rendered outline on the left-hand side of the screenshot, the line can appear anywhere from around the image to through the middle. There is no difference how quickly I draw the region to take a screenshot.
It seems to happen on slower/larger applications/websites (Battle.net running with WINE, or Firefox/Chromium when on Facebook).
I have xfce4-screenshoter binded to control+shift+4 in i3 config:
bindsym ctrl+Shift+4 exec --no-startup-id xfce4-screenshooter -r -c --no-border
Not sure if this is related to the same problem, it sometimes the screenshot takes a while for the region to be captured. I used i3 as a window manager with xfce4 for tooling.
Steps to reproduce:
- Take a screenshot on virtual-desktop-A
- Switch to a different virtual-desktop-B
- xfce4-screenshooter will have a delay and capture the region on the virtual-desktop-B
Please let me know if there are debugging steps I can take to find the issue.
