Clicking action in notification message from one application triggers activation of operation in another application

When a notification is sent from Firefox -- with an action button inside the notification -- and i click the action button these things happen at the same time:

• Firefox performs the expected operation
• Another application running in the background (Mindfulness at the computer, which uses Qt) enters one of its methods
