Slide-out notifications stop mid-slide when acted upon (volume change)

Audio volume changes re-use the same notification, which makes sense. However, when the "Slide out" option is activated and the volume is changed while the notification is mid-slide, it'll stop. This looks ... weird :) And is not very usable. It would make more sense to have the notification slide back in temporarily.
