Smoke theme from xfce4-notifyd 0.6.0 does not render correctly with gtk+3 dark themes

Created attachment 9686 xfce4-notifyd 0.6.0 white background
GTK3 version: 3.22.30 Xfce4 version: 4.14 GTK3 theme: Numix
After upgrading to 0.6.0 version, the Smoke theme does not render background color. So, I get a white bubble instead (see attachment). Other themes render fine.
Maybe related to https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16592 ?
Downgrading to 0.4.4 solved the issue.
