xfce4-notifyd 0.9.0 doesn't start automatically

After update to 0.9.0 (Arch/Manjaro) the daemon doesn't start. I have to manually launch xfce4-notifyd-config to start the service. Panel plugins like xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin are unusable (20s timeout on every action) when xfce4-notifyd is not running. Downgrading package to 0.8.2 fixes the issue (sudo pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/x/xfce4-notifyd/xfce4-notifyd-0.8.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst);
