SSA/ASS subtitles are not rendered

Seems to be the same problem as described here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=618714
Tested it with Parole 0.52 and 0.60. SSA/ASS subtitles are just not displayed and no error messages are generated (Compiled with --enable-debug=full and run with --gst-debug-level=4).
Furthermore I tested with both gstreamer 0.1 and 1.0 yielding the same results.
In the reference bug report are test files to illustrate the bug.
