System tray icon doesn't change upon icon theme change

The icon doesn't change when changing the icon theme. The icon also looks blurry (tested on xfce4-panel, using pixel perfect icon theme). It seems that it uses the 64x64 icon and scales it down, rather than using the correct size icon.
