Screen flickering in green when enabling subtitles - only on intel hw

When enabling subtitles, the screen starts flickering in green, but only when the subtitle is showing. The driver I'm using is the intel-driver, on a Intel Corporation Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] (rev 07) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]).

It does not matter whether I use the intel-driver or the nodesetting driver. It only happens on Parole. When using VLC or any other media player with the same movies and subtitles it works as expected. I've tried the same movies and subtitles with two different laptops, with the same chip, and the result is the same. The screen is flickering in green. So it is not my hardware. I've also played the same movies and subtitles on my desktop with an Nvidia-card with the correct result, id est, no flickering.
