Black screen when try to play videos (formats mp4, webm, mkv)

Operating system: Xubuntu 22.04 Parole Media Player version: 4.16.0 GPU: NVIDIA Geforce MX250 Driver: nvidia-driver-515

Description of the problem: When I try to play videos in the formats mp4, webm and mkv, no video is showing, only audio is played. By default the parameter "Video Output" in Preferences was set in 'Automatic'. If I change it to 'Windows system X (X11/XShm/Xv)', finally I can see the videos but only in the formats mp4 and webm. For the format mkv that change doesn't fix the problem, even if a set the 'Video output' in 'Windows system X (without Xv)'.

Before, I was using Xubuntu 20.04 (I don´t remember the Parole version). With the parameter 'Video output' set in 'Automatic', I was able to play all the videos in different formats without problems.

Another symptom I notice is that when I tried to play a big mp4 file (2.6GB), the RAM consumption became very high. If I play the same file in other software it doesn't happen.
