Empty space and misaligned text in menus

Since update to 0.5.x I noticed a new, useless margin on the left side of menus.

Icons could show up there, like they do in Thunar, but they don't, and push the text further right instead, breaking the alignment.

Only checkboxes, when present, make use of this space.
