Text hidden behind scrollbar(s)
While displaying a document with enough lines or colums for mousepad to show scrollbars, the text view does not change its dimensions and the scrollbars are being shown whenever the cursor is anywhere above the text view. As a result, the last characters of a line or the lowest line may be covered by the scrollbar(s).
My use pattern oftentimes leads me to this situation and moving the cursor out of the text view everytime i need to see the lowest line can feel cumbersome to me. Especially since the lowest line is the most relevant while writing new lines to extend a document.
Proposed solution
As far as my ideas go, this situation can only be avoided by A) letting the text view borders jump back and forth whenever the scrollbars fade in or out, or B) permanently restricting the space available to the text view while scrollbars are necessary and reserving some space at the borders to either permanently show the scrollbars or to fade them in and out as needed if aesthetically desired (the cobalt theme offers enough contrast to notice them in the corner of your eye).
Since option A) would feel very glitchy and since some people (maybe?) really like that extra space consumed by option B) i was somehow thinking that maybe offering a switch in the preferences to choose between option B) and the current implementation for anyone who wants to move their cursor out of the text view instead might be the the most harmonious solution.
