end of line at end of file

Something changed, relatively recently (a few months?), where Mousepad stopped displaying the last 'end of line' (0x0a) for the last line of the file.

That last character should be honored/displayed - not ignored.

Please could it be added back ?

eg: end of a file:

00001ba0  69 63 72 6f 20 77 61 73  20 6d 79 20 6d 61 63 68  |icro was my mach|
00001bb0  69 6e 65 29 2e 0a 0a 2a  2f 0a                    |ine)...*/.|

The cursor hangs/stops at/after the closing comment slash - rather than going down onto a new (empty) line.
