"Externally Modified" warning when saving file opened from CIFS/SMB mount
I am experiencing an issue where Mousepad incorrectly detects an external file modification when saving a file located on a CIFS (SMB) mount. The first save operation works correctly, but upon the second save attempt, a warning dialog appears: "The document has been externally modified. Do you want to continue saving?"
This occurs regardless of whether the server is Debian or Windows. Other applications (e.g. Inkscape) do not exhibit this behavior on the same mount.
