Setting to allow some items in menu to show up in sidebar

The three dot drop down menu contains a few settings that could be very helpful to be able to see / have access to more conveniently.
Suggesting that maybe they can be added in the sidebar.

Can give these settings its own category header under the “Modified” section in the sidebar.
Would have to decide on category name?

Other / Miscellaneous / Settings / Preferences
-Show hidden files
-Search file contents
-Search within compressed files (.zip, .odf, .docx) (Found in Preferences - Advanced (tab)
-Match results exactly

Would show the above three settings with check boxes to toggle them on/off.
Again these three settings are items that would be nice to see all the time rather then having them hidden in the drop down menu.

This could be added as a setting in the Preferences section to show/hide this, but even better would be if combined with the following feature request mentioned here #123
